Here are the different gear, software, & resources I use.
The right tools can make a huge difference in how you work or just how much you can enjoy your gaming time.
I have tried a WIDE range of services and equipment to find which ones add the most to my workflow and gaming fun. This page contains a list of the ones that have made the cut. This page will get updated as I change out different tools and equipment so you can see what is working for me and decide if it will work for you.
Youtube Tools
TubeBuddy
Youtube Optimization & Automation
TubeBuddy let’s you start with a free plan to do some of the basics in helping manage your Youtube channel. It let’s you save templates for things like your End Screen and Cards, but once you upgrade to a paid plan you get a lot more. Honestly, the Find & Replace Text feature is worth the cost alone in how much time is has saved me when I need to update a link across dozens of video descriptions.
Nerd or Die
Livestream Overlays & More
Nerd or Die is a simple one-stop-shop for your livestreaming needs. They offer full overlay packages that you just drop into OBS, or you can get individual items like sound effects. Don’t worry about having the same package as someone else though, as many designs offer color variations. If nothing else Nerd or Die gives you way to get a pro-level streaming overlay without the headache of creating everything from scratch.
Streamelements
The Ultimate Streamer Platform
StreamElements is the leading platform for live streaming on Twitch,Youtube and Facebook gaming. StreamElements features include Overlays, Tipping, Chatbot, and more. While I started as many do with Streamlabs OBS, it ultimately became too overloaded and problematic. StreamElements doesn’t have this issue and has become more valuable to me than Streamlabs ever was.
